The truth is, I was good at staying out of credit card debt. I had so much to learn about managing and growing my money. I am a natural spender. I love a good sale. I was proof that having a high-income didn’t mean I knew how to manage my money. I was born and raised in New York City. I spent most of my life living in the the Bronx. I am a Latina, first generation college graduate and daughter of an immigrant. I moved to California for an amazing job opportunity and negotiated my salary to more than double what I was making.
