“I’m a community organizer and social worker that works for a not for profit that advocates for lgbtq+ youth. One of the things I do is give monthly lesson plans to GSAs in high schools and middle schools all throughout NYC. Recently our young LGBTQ+ have been showing more initiative to take action but there is such a massive lack of education in that arena. Everything from knowing about the Stonewall Riots to the recently elected transgender and gender non-conforming (and still running) individuals. I know that they seek out any and all content they can find and I guarantee they’re listening to your podcast! Which is awesome and why I was practically skipping down the sidewalk this morning listening to your activist episode this morning on my way to work. It would be SO great if you did an episode that speaks to the LGBTQ+ youth that are listening. Having a young speaker and guest talk about what they’re experiencing today would really inspire our next generation and give them even more visibility they deserve. Just a thought and thank you!”
