I have done my share of fad diets in the past only to gain the weight back. Two years ago I changed my lifestyle and started exercising very regularly (Peloton) and lost about 40 pounds and have been able to maintain it with my lifestyle changes. I tell everyone I know to listen to your podcast and try to discourage ‘fad diets’ as much as I can.
