One of those talented contestants is a former NFL player, Blake Proehl. Proehl was a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings but had to pull out due to an injury. Proehl used music as his beacon for recovering and getting into a mentally stable spot. His audition was wholesome as he sang by his grandmom's side, who inspired him to get into music and pursue a career in the arts.
