Baddest Podcast in the Land!
The Edible Activist Podcast is a much needed platform that gives people of color the opportunities to write their own narratives in the DC food space and beyond. I feel heard, awakened and inspired by the guest that come on the podcast every week. They remind me that we as a people are powerful and that I too can be an edible activist.

As a DC resident working in the urban agriculture world, I am always trying to stay in-the-know with relevent folks doing awesome work. I specifically love this podcast because it elevates BIPOC and Melissa is a fantastic interviewer. Great stories, great people.

I’ve listened to nearly every episode of The Edible Activist podcast and highly, highly recommend it! Melissa, her team and her guests shine a beautiful light on the food stories of black and brown people. Our narratives are as rich as the soil that grows our food.
