This is episode 1 of the series: Understanding Depression and PTSD
The World Health Organization (WHO) in 2022 indicated that the COVID-19 pandemic increased the prevalence of anxiety and depression by 25 percent. With this increase, nurses will see anxiety and depression more often in their patients, coworkers, and perhaps themselves. Not all nurses are prepared to address the concern. This course will help mitigate the gap in knowledge about depression and PTSD, allowing the nurse to be more confident in their interactions.
