The daily grind of 50% paperwork, 25% psychiatry (including that used on consultants), 15% social work and 10% actual emergency patient care can take its toll. Thank you to Scott for renewing my excitement in our specialty.

Thanks for a fantastic podcast (both the EMCRIT blog and lectures)- it is evidence-based, practical and focussed on patient outcomes. As an emergency nurse it is very helpful to see the ICU world de-mystified and brought downstairs to the ED, where with the reality of access block the ICU...Read full review »
