Tony began shaping conversations around engaging men in ending FGM.  "Men play a crucial role in ending FGM," he says. "In many communities I have been to, men hold the gavel to the ending of the practice."

The more effort is put on the number of men sensitized (P), the less the demand of cut girls (Q), and also less men want to cut their girls. In a typical supply/demand situation in a free market, lack of demand automatically kills the supply. If men are willing to marry uncut girls, FGM will end faster!
