Episode 252: Dr. Enna Reittort: "Broody Blue, a Handbook of Ruthless Gentleness for the Natural Human Mystic"
Listen now
Description
Dr. Enna Reittort describes her journey as follows:  "After ten years in an esoteric caste-denying Indian subculture, I left my academic PhD behind to go barefoot as an aspiring peasant in the spirit of regenerative farming. Perhaps this is 'deep' anthropology rather than theoretical, and in apprenticeship to Nature, the greatest teacher whose language our subtle bodies can understand better than our restless minds."  Enna now lives at the edge of a village in rural Thailand. In this podcast we discuss her wonderful new work, Broody Blue, which I believe is my favorite book of this young decade.  It is near and dear to my heart and I love what it evokes when I share its mystery.  It is the closest thing to a "finger pointing at the moon" I have ever discovered.
