Dr Martine Abboud is a passionate advocate of being an enterprising researcher and as one of the 2019 Forbes European ’30 under 30 to watch’ she can attest to the challenges of maintaining a life-work balance. Over an MPLS Enterprising Women: Lunch and Learn session she shared her scientific journey as a first-generation graduate and her experiences of the various enterprise-related opportunities that science researchers can access in Oxford, including her participation in the RisingWISE programme, jointly run between Oxford and Cambridge.
