Rob Stevenson
Firstly, I’ve known Alan professionally for a long time. We first discussed his idea for this podcast several years ago and like many valuable creations, it took a few years come about. But what a great result. A topic that’s not widely covered, guests with diverse backgrounds and very different businesses, all engaging, interesting and really generous with their insights. And Alan does an excellent job of keeping the conversation moving, while making sure the deeper insights are dug out. Several of the guests have commented at the end that they found the conversation cathartic. The sign of a great discussion. To be expected given Alan has been at the forefront of financial planning in the UK for decades now. Top work and recommended for anyone that owns a business. You can’t stay in your business forever and the sooner you plan your exit and surround yourself with the right team, the better your chances of a successful transition.

Two episodes in so far and enjoying every moment. Down-to-earth stories from people who’ve exited their businesses, with all the positives and negatives that came before. Well-produced show with the pace and episode length just right. Looking forward to more.
