Description
Page 1 of 2 Food for Thought show notesOverviewIn this podcast Mary Blake Zeron and myself, Elsa Marrian, discuss the use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). We compare and contrast the Western World perspective on GMOs to that of the less economically developed world. One way that we do this is through the use of the Golden Rice example in India. Through this lens we are able to contextualise shopper anxiety, food labeling and legislation, and farmer activism.
