Frustrating to listen to
Many episodes, there will be no practical information just philosophical “this is so great” “everyone should do this” mumbo jumbo. For example a recent episode on composting systems. Literally all that was said was throw in what you want, turn it a few times to speed it up and get no weeds, or don’t and it will be great after a few years. That took 15 minutes, and the rest is just filler chat. I prefer scientific knowledge and more depth, to learn about gardening as it gives real life practical things gardeners can do. Let’s face it, most people that are looking for a gardening podcast, are not completely new to it, I wish the host would realize that and step it up. Maybe he is the novice gardener, and maybe isn’t qualified to host a podcast. Your guests are only as good as the questions you ask them.

The 5-part "Bodybuilding Farmer" interview brought me here. Love the content and length of episodes.Read full review »

I love this podcast! Short but informative. My 18 month old son and I are getting into outside gardening because of this pod cast. Plus, listening to a fellow San diegan is always great!

Kevin has such a way with tone. He’s inviting enough that a total newbie like me does not feel out of the loop, but he doesn’t dumb down his information. It’s great stuff!
