“I’ve spent about a year in the crypto rabbit hole, and Epicenter has been one of my most reliable guides. They aren’t into the pump-and-dump, to-the-moon culture that so much crypto media embraces. It’s more like an upper level college course on blockchain technology. But it’s not so developer-centric that non-coders (like me) can still understand. Wired magazine used to claim they were “making a magazine that feels as if it has been mailed back from the future.” But I find Wired usually sticks to the vagaries of Web 2 companies and what Elon Musk had for breakfast. Epicenter feels like it is much closer to fulfilling this vision of depicting our technological future. Even their advertisements are generally interesting.
I also love the community aspect of the show. It’s not just one personality at the core: every episode has a range of personalities (and expressive accents) coming from all over the crypto’s-here. But they all have a similar level-headedness. Friederike - keep asking those tough questions!
Thanks, Epicenter for being an informed and inspiring voice in the world of crypto.”
