“Thanks for taking this on. May I suggest an episode, early in the sequence, focusing on municipal preparation in this “respite” period? The select board in my suburban town has not yet mentioned Covid-19 in thier meetings. This episode could be shared by listeners with their elected local officials. Should towns have plans in place? What should these plans include specific to viral pandemics? Is it appropriate for towns to begin having conversations about school closing or other isolation strategies? I imagine that have definitive triggers in place would be valuable. I also imagine that there is, or should be, a vetted trickle down of response from Fed to state to local government? Is it too early for us to expect to go to our local municipal websites and see homepage banner information? My town currently has no information on its site. Again, thanks for providing this reasoned response analysis as clearly we are not getting it from the federal executive.”
