This should be a fascinating topic but I'm afraid I couldn't get past the second lecture, hence two stars instead of one; perhaps I didn't give the professor a chance. Does he really have to be so dispassionate?

Frank Snowden’s style is a little dry but his explanations are crystal clear and highly insightful. He beautifully merges history, philosophy, art and biology, making a compelling case for the profound impact that epidemics have had on society throughout our past and into the present day.
