I used to be so jealous of my husband’s mistress. She was revealed within days of our wedding. He always responded to her needs no matter how inconvenient it was. She got his full attention no matter how hard I was trying to fulfill all his needs. I struggled with how much attention she got. I felt like I couldn’t compete. The mistress I’m talking about - his job, his career. What needed to change, was my attitude towards his career.
