Tis the season. As we down our tools in preparation for the holiday season & look back on the year that was, it’s easy to see what didn’t come together, what we failed to achieve. But the holidays for me are a time to give thanks. I haven’t always been very good at taking time to smell the roses, and celebrate the wins – however small but it’s a practice that my EQ journey has taught me to embrace. As a goal-oriented individual, I tend to focus very quickly on the next achievement, the next milestone, but I am learning to use the holidays to look back & give thanks.
