“I want to echo the other complaints about speaking French in class..... Ok, I got it, the guy lives in France.... So what? Well, the so what is that almost every topic is related to France, and to someone he knows, or lives near, visited a few years back. Oh did I mention, the guy lives in France.
This should have been a much better lecture.
For those that want to learn about European history and not just France, I'd recommend Prof. Wetzel's (?) lecture from UC Berkley.”
