Les Kaye was an early student of Suzuki Roshi and served as abbot of Kannon Do for 40 years, retiring as Abbot Emeritus. In this talk he speaks on the history of how "Zen Mind Beginner's Mind," came to be and its impact on bringing the teachings of zen to the western world.
