“This show has been beguiling me for the last two or so years. Listening to two Canadian rednecks - one loud and rhapsodic, the other relatively subdued - talk about the news, current events, or even American politics, with each of their own (often uninformed with a comedic lean) points of view is always a fun time, even if it often slips into discussion about wood-working or local stair-climbs.
Adam is great at finding a joke in seemingly mundane conversations and bombastically presenting the punchline for Bryon to take too seriously. Their chemistry is a joy to listen to.
At the midpoint of each episode, we’re treated to an often obscure, handpicked song, that usually manages to get my toe tapping like grandpa around a gramophone. It helps break the show into two digestible segments.
On top of the gut-busting week-to-week episodes, Adam and Bryon also incorporate seasonal holiday specials into the mix. Their “Triple X-Mas” programs are always a blast, and their most recent Halloween special was a true work of preposterous art.
I recommend this show because it has consistently been a high point in my day each time I listen, and I think if you give it a shot, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.”
