“Most independent “comedy” podcasts tend to be a few try-hards set up in a room with bad mics doing poor impressions of wacky “Morning Zoo” radio shows.
These guys have a very fun, casual vibe that invites throwing them on and acting like you’re sitting next to them. You’re drinking a tall-boy that’s getting a little too warm. You’re too afraid to finish it, because it means you’ll have to leave their presence and get another. So you sit there with a warm brewsky while their warm voices flow over you. They take a break, and you think, “Great! I can get something from the fridge.” But no! They’ve got a great song cued up for your listening pleasure, and it’s right back into it.”
