“The podcast claims to be rooted in science & references many research papers, but the host speaks in divisive language that I find diminishing as a woman. She frequently replaces the term mother with “birthing person”, which undermines the significant & traditional term “Mother”. It’s sooo hard to listen to & hits my ear wrong every time. Mother is a special term reserved for women, if the pod is truly rooted in science, a fact based understanding of biology is necessary. It’s really too bad the host has chosen to use divisive terminology that makes me feel extremely alienated. I hope the host will someday understand…”
