“A topic full of potential, and could have been extremely engaging. I listened throughout the entire series and was very disappointed by the loose conjecture.
Too many what ifs. I think this is because even with lots of research and resources it is extremely difficult to gain information on the facility. Thus the series focused on the social fabric of Alice Springs more than the facility. In my view there was about 10 minutes of interesting info on Pine Gap; the rest was a social history of the Alice.
I found that drawing un-corroborated links between Pine Gap and US-Israeli intelligence sharing and drone strikes in Afghanistan unnecessary. This didn’t really value add in my view.
I did like the production value :)”
