If you look at the timeline, women in hollywood have been dealing with sexism, abuse and misogyny from not only their colleges and their bosses but by so called 'fans' for generations. Ellen was a huge risk in the industry when she came out in her TV show as a lesbian. Rihanna faced backlash for standing up for her abusive boyfriend in 2009, and Taylor Swift can never seem to catch a break. The relation between all these women?
