“One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to. Crunch and Bio really let Kurt talk and I it enjoyed it immensely.
I was a Navigator in the Navy in the Med 77-81 and the Tomcat was the new big dog.
I read that Grumman named the F-14 the Tomcat, b/c a lot of the Admirals making the purchase decision on the plane were named Tom. Again, maybe an urban legend. :)
