Balanced, measured, truth-seeking
Uncovers issues that are common in mega-churches: empire-building, isolated leaders above accountability, vulnerable people misused and abused. And over all that, a massive investment in marketing and branding. Great podcast for us Christians to listen to, especially as we were warned about wolves, about pride, about the love of money. Truth is ugly and confronting, but so so valuable.

While Hillsong definitely has a number of cases to answer, the host misrepresents and misunderstands the Christian faith from the point of view of Hillsong and the people he interviews.

Have to agree with the comments about the narrator getting in the way of the story. He steps all over the women’s stories in multiple episodes with his own thoughts about what happened.
