Dr Fisher is an expert in Facial Gender Affirmation Surgery and has spoken nationally and internationally on this topic. She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons and is a member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. Dr Fisher is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery at UNC - Chapel Hill and is the Director of Facial Gender Affirmation Surgery in the Division of Craniofacial and Surgical Care.
