“Disclaimer, I’m a major Seth fan so I’m going to love anything he does, but objectively speaking this really is a fantastic podcast (and I’m not a big fan of podcasts, generally speaking). I love the idea of discussing family trips with guests—it’s a fresh and uplifting concept in a sea of pointless, self-indulgent podcasts. Seth and Josh have the best brotherly chemistry and banter and I could truly listen to them all day. The guests have been so funny and interesting. Seth is one of the best interviewers of our time, by the way. The boys are both so warm and genuinely interested in their guests. Hands down the best episode is the one with their parents, Hilary and Larry. The Meyers have such a loving family dynamic and for someone like me who grew up in a dysfunctional home and took no family trips ever, it’s so nice to listen to what a caring family sounds like. Josh’s bespoke songs are SO funny, the cherry on top of each episode. I look forward to each new episode on Tuesdays. It’s free therapy, it’s auditory comfort food. I play this show when I’m stressed out or feeling down and it always picks me back up. Great job, boys!”
