“I started listening recently and I’m working on catching up on all the episodes right from the beginning. The chemistry between Pri and Brooke is awesome, I love that we’re basically getting to listen to them catch up on pop culture and it’s so low key! I did want to ask/mention though - in the third episode when they cover Demi Lovato coming out as nonbinary - Priyanka and Brooke both mentioned once that it takes some time to adjust (which is understandable!!) and used the correct pronouns once or twice, but before and after that they both just used she/her pronouns over and over which made me have to turn the episode off and go to the next, I personally couldn’t handle the repeated misgendering in a segment all about Demi coming out and being the nonbinary representation the world is missing. I love that this topic was covered as it is very important, and I know as a longtime fan of Brooke that she’s not transphobic so I’m sure neither Brooke nor Pri meant it this way, but it honestly came off as really trans/enby-phobic or intentionally dismissive like most other news sources that covered the topic just to have content, which is kind of really disheartening to see as a young enby fan. And again I trust that this wasn’t the intention because I’ve followed Brooke for a while and I trust Pri as well, I was just wondering if this issue ever got a follow up in later episodes or on social media, just to apologize or recognize the mistake and its effects? Once again no hate to either Brooke Lynn or Priyanka, and I’m not mad or upset or anything, just genuinely asking.”
