Big fan of the show, have an idea for an off-season Beyond the box score segment: Is there a curse from being in a Subway commercial? Last year it was Russell Wilson (disappointing to be generous) and this year Justin Herbert and Patrick Mahomes were featured a lot. While better than Russel “Let’s Ride” Wilson, It seems fair to say that neither had a good fantasy season this year. Justin Herbert’s injury in the 1st round of our playoffs ended my fantasy season in one league.
Maybe it’s nothing, but would love to hear you and the guys’ analysis about it. Just to be sure, I’ll avoid any player appearing in a Subway commercial for my fantasy drafts next year.”
