A charming, fun, and original format take
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a good while because I liked the host and a lot of the rotating casts, many of who I knew from previous videogame outlets. And when The decision was made to change the format of the podcast to a mock game show format, I’m not going on to lie, I was pretty disappointed at first. It felt awkward and forced and I just wanted to hear voices I liked talk about games and the new format felt awkward and like it was getting in the way of good conversation. But the shows host Merritt K, stuck with it, and evolved it into a “Whose Line Is It” style improve videogame podcasts. The bits got better and funnier. The guests seemingly became more comfortable with the format and were having a good time. And it became one of my favorite videogame podcasts (and between commented and dog walks I listen to *a lot* of videogame podcasts). It is one of the only gaming podcasts outside of The Besties that actually manages to make me laugh out loud on a regulars basis now. So cheers to the host and to this show for evolving and iterating through the awkward growing pains. What came out on the other side is truly special and something I greatly look forward to each week.

You Love To See It is the perfect post-movie accompaniment for every movie they cover. The irreverence and reverence are doled out appropriately, and they all bring learned and humourous perspectives to some all time classics and some all-time “classics”.
