“Sorry but this podcast is not all everyone makes it out to be. All season long they’ve been talking about the two Coen brother movies that influence this season (often getting them wrong and contradicting themselves). And admitting that they hadn’t seen Miller’s Crossing, which is one of their most smartly written movies, they never-the-less don’t allow that to get in the way of their review.
And if I hear either of them, shoehorn in Deus ex machina one more time, I may vomit.
Other than their own opinions, I hear nothing from these two to give them the credentials to critic these shows. When they can’t come up with a college philosophy vocabulary word to demonstrate their elitism, they quickly resort to vulgarities.
Do yourself a favor; if you are at all interested in any of the shows they drone on about, skip their two cents.”
