In October 2023, I had the honor to be a panelist in a webinar to talk about science communication in Africa. The panel consisted of members from Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. We talked about what goes into creating a successful platform, need for collaboration, mentoring upcoming science communicators challenges and finally shared tools that have been useful in doing our work.
