Game changer
Shana’s guidance and principles have truly been a game changer for me. Although I do believe I have struggled with insulin resistance/blood sugar issues my whole life, my weight gain did not not happen until after I turned 40. For someone who has been thin my entire life, I couldn’t understand WHY I could now not seem to lose weight around my middle. Now I know the why behind it…because I had been trying to follow the conventional dietary advice while hitting midlife and fluctuating hormones. I have gradually implemented low carb, more protein/Whole Foods and fasting as tolerated. I am FINALLY losing the middle section and understand the science behind it. I appreciate Shana’s courage to go rogue and help so many midlife women in the process!
