Welcome to Dad Club

Description
After a stroll in the wilderness Fatherhood is back! And though of course we're in isolation, we wanted to reach out a digital hand to connect with fathers and families. Dads - drawers full of batteries, awkward jokes and bad dancing, who are these grumpy knitwearers? The podcasts aims to help dads connect emotionally to the experience of fatherhood, and challenge some stereotypes along the way with interviews and stories exploring modern masculinity, parental roles and the impact of the fatherhood in all our lives. Join father of two and audio producer Robin Leeburn as we relaunch the show by going back to the start with a 'Welcome to Dad Club'. In this episode leading UK poets Richard Price (https://www.hydrohotel.net) and Luke Wright (https://www.lukewright.co.uk) read their own work, alongside the thoughts and recollections of a bunch of dads we met along the way. Hear emotional stories of fatherhood backed by a soundscape mixed by the presenter and good pal and DJ Keir Livock. Please rate and review and share where you can - follow the podcast at fatherhood_pod on Twitter and Insta.   Music featured: Snow Palms – Index of Rivers - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Index-of-Rivers/dp/B009A3T0EU Four Tet – Smile Around the Face - https://www.amazon.co.uk/smile-around-the-face/dp/B002WZJ5IE Thundercat – Lone Wolf and Cub - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lone-Wolf-and-Cub/dp/B01EM8EU7Y Bon Iver – Holocene - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Holocene/dp/B0054LSFO8 Snow Palms – Motion Capture - https://www.amazon.com/Motion-Capture/dp/B009A6I5O8 Mount Kimbie - Made to Stray - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Made-To-Stray/dp/B00C38XT3C How To Dress Well – Words I Don’t Remember -https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K8ECQB4/ref=dm_ws_tlw_trk6 Nils Frahm – Ode -https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VGAI3PW/ref=dm_ws_tlw_trk1 Sufjan Stevens – Blue Bucket of Gold -https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blue-Bucket-of-Gold/dp/B00SC4U2MM Phosphorescent – Wolves - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wolves/dp/B00HKY3THA
