Description
This is Fear of Missing Out: young people living in the UK talking about the stuff we wish we learnt at school. Dundee-based Tom and Mikaela are 20 and 21 years old, meaning they were too young to vote in the 2014 Scottish Independence Referendum. As the debate rages over a second Referendum on Scottish Independence, Tom and Mikaela look back at Scotland’s recent political history - the 1979, 1997 and 2014 referendums - to try and work out how they might vote in the future. Tom and Mikaela speak to Talat Yaqoob, Rory Scothorne and Gerry Hassan.  Transcript: https://bit.ly/3RjKGwo Further Learning Resources: https://bit.ly/3PVxih0 Producer: Jesse Lawson Assistant Producer: Anton Ferrie Executive Producer: Steve Urquhart Music: Maia Miller-Lewis Historical Consultant: Richard Finlay Mixing: Mike Wooley Artwork: Tobi Malomo Advisory Board: Arlie Adlington, Elly Robson, Imani Mason Jordan, Lynette Nora Onek and Emmanuella Kwenortey Additional music and sounds: Anthem of Rain, Crowander, Jesse Lawson, Dilating Times Fear of Missing Out is a Boldface Production, supported by the Audio Content Fund.
