“I love most of Wondery’s material. But this story is the podcast version of store-brand bag cereal. It looks and feels like a great name-brand experience. But it winds up disappointing with the product and delivery.
The production lacks depth. The story and product gets muddied by the “Valley Girl” tone of the narrator and very Insta-brat elitist people involved and cited throughout. This story needs more real substance and less artificial color and filler.”
