“Whenever a podcast or docuseries starts with the tagline βthis is a story about the internetβ I know itβs going to be a constant barrage of notification alert sounds, beeps & buzzes & keyboard clicking noises. This is good content delivered in an entertaining & engaging way; but the constant text message sounds when describing a text message is old, unnecessary, & completely distracts from the content. I wish creators would move past this trope & let their content shine. I wish I could mute the sound effects. Otherwise it would be a 5 star podcast.”
