Transportation safety in the United States has grown safer, thanks in part to work A GAO superstar. She's overseen work ranging from diversity in crash test dummies to preventing catastrophic train wrecks. More broadly, she's ridden herd on transportation-related spending under the trillion dollar infrastructure law. For her work, she's a finalist in this year's Service to America Medals program.
