“I’m a long time listener to several of Parcast’s shows and usually really enjoy them, but the most recent episode on Wanda Barzee is particularly distressing. They repeatedly refer to Elizabeth and Wanda as “the wives/the sister wives”, which is horrific when applied to a kidnapped and assaulted child and one of her captors/abusers. They give the content warning of “insensitive language”, but that shouldn’t be used as an excuse for poor writing. There are times when quotations confirm this idea is coming from Wanda, but that’s largely not the case and really should be addressed.”
