“I love this podcast!! Many episodes are about powerful women who were criminalized for being before their time and not wanting to submit, roll over or placate the people around them. Others are pretty unwell and guilty of some awful crimes but the thing I like the most about the podcast is that even though some of these women are guilty of some real bad stuff we get to hear their whole story.
You learn about the many awful things most of the women have experienced that led to the trauma that often is at the core of their criminal activities. You can understand and empathize with their past and their pain while also being against the violence or crimes they did that hurt others. Humanizing and fascinating, a deep look into the human condition and the social construction of female deviance throughout history.”
