“I never really considered myself a feminist. I am one of 6 daughters, and attended a single sex Catholic High School in the 1989s. I loved the guitar playing nuns, and I was not, and still am not, a Catholic. I have spent my career in a man’s world of Engineering, and only have had a minor experiences with men behaving badly. The majority are kind and welcoming. I am a conservative, and married 29 years to a wonderful man. In the past few years I have been concerned about the loss of women only spaces. Meagan is covering issues of great importance to me. Her most recent episode about trans women in female prisons was so disturbing bing to me. I don’t know where the culture is going, but I’ll be sure to pay attention to what Meagan is thinking about.”
