Great podcast covering the history of fiber arts
I’m always happy to see a new episode download onto my feed - they’re well thought out, well researched and often talk about topics that are considered “women’s histories” even though they are often important social issues from the past. I have a particular hatred of peat moss (working in agriculture, it can be used as livestock bedding) and I regularly reference The Mystery of the Gunnister Man episode to people who wouldn’t listen to this show to explain why I hate peat moss so much. I wish they released episodes more often but I’d rather have good thorough episodes less frequently over rushed episodes regularly.

Just love the combo of history and textiles! Way beyond the typical knitting podcast. More episodes.

This podcast is incredible. It makes me think of NPR meets fiber arts. High quality stories with excellent production! I am recommending it to friends who aren’t fiber artists because the content expands past fiber.
