Love y’all, but good god sound mixing !
Been listening to this podcast since the Op K days. I really appreciate* everyone’s opinions and you’ve all gotten me through some rather torturous subway commutes. I especially love Patches’ earnestness when describing middling movies or kids movies. My only critique is that everyone’s voice is at different volumes. David sounds like he’s several feet away from his mic while recording, forcing me to actively increase my volume throughout listening. This then makes everyone else’s volume intolerably loud — particularly Katey, whom I love. David, don’t be afraid to get close. It’s okay. #stopinterruptingkatey *(note: in my head I pronounced appreciate like Patches would)

Being all the way in Colorado now, I miss being so close to the movie scene in Los Angeles. This podcast does a great job making you feel like you just watched a flick at a art house and then grabbed a drink afterward to chat about it. Really fun to listen to.

wish there was more here, but this is a disorganized podcast. lots of people shouting each other down and very little in terms of likeable personalities.

Great to hear this crew talk about movies, love to hear from 4 different perspectives, even if David has a hole in his heart from 1994 that cannot be filled with anything but foreign movies.
