Film Kid Asks is the podcast by film students for aspiring filmmakers. It centres the conversation around what we want to know going into the industry by digging into the origin stories and experiences of professionals working in film. Episode four is a conversation with Trevor Smith, a passionate film lover, art director, and production designer who has worked on projects like Fargo (2014), Diablo, and Heartland. We discuss his background, his role as the programmer for the Calgary International Film Festival, how his department collaborates with the rest of the production, and advice for young filmmakers, among other things.
