For the love of King Kev
I, like Simon the podcast narrator, have a love for Kevin Costner that knows no boundaries and can’t get enough film fact and behind the scenes talk about him. However, if King Kev is not your type then never fear: there are plenty of illuminating stories of how other films do and don’t get made, the speed bumps in the way that slow the progress from the page to the screen and the success stories that make it all worth the while. 40 minute of chat each episode, spread evenly between two films, it’s the podcast equivalent of the hour and half film runtime. An eclectic mix of films from the last four decades exhaustively discusses and in Simon’s own words, minus the snark. Well worth your time

More reviews of Film Stories with Simon Brew
I love this podcast - because of its structure - 2 roughly 15 minute stories about a favourite film - they’re really easily digestible and you get some really fascinating anecdotes of behind the scenes dramas you never knew about. Highly recommended.
