Love this podcast
Film Stories is one of my favourite podcasts. The premise is simple; host Simon Brew recounts the story of how a movie was brought to the screen. Each episode is around 30 minutes long and usually consists of two ‘stories’. What makes it so listenable is Brew’s engaging, conversational style. The stories never flag in the telling and he has a knack for throwing in asides without losing the thread of the overarching narrative. His passion and enthusiasm for each subject shines through. It probably helps to be of a certain age as many of the films covered are from the late 80s/1990s but I rarely listen to an episode without wanting to watch (or rewatch) the films covered with the benefit of Brew’s commentary. It’s a refreshingly simple pleasure.

So good to hear insight on previous movies rather than speculation. Hope the magazine becomes available through the App Store soon.

As something to be informative and interesting I really like this format. 2 movies, 30 minutes, great podcasts
