Detailed Ravens Analysis; Poor Production Quality
This is the perfect example of a glass of water in the desert. Outside of unlistenable call-in radio shows, there is not much out there to satisfy a fan’s thirst for Ravens talk or in-depth discussion about the Ravens. Enter Film Study. Details and opinion at a level that coaches may even consider over-analysis. If you want content to slake your thirst, this is a keg’s worth. It is not an easy listen. The production values are horrendous. Why the creator of this podcast goes to such level of detail regarding the team but cannot use that level of detail to fix the quality of the production is baffling. The podcast features a mix of both engaging guests and unlistenable guests to assist the host in his analysis. It is roulette as to which it will be for each episode. Often shows are created PRIOR to but posted AFTER significant events have occurred. This leaves the listener scratching his/her head wondering why someone who was cut or injured is still the topic of conversation as if the event had not happened. All in all, despite these shortcomings, it is Ravens talk at a level that exists nowhere else. To a rabid and hungry fan, this is plenty good enough.
