Some consumer loan companies have been in trouble and there have been delays in collecting the principal/interest also due to covid related regulation from governments. There have also been some scams with Envestio and Kuetzal and also with Grupeer with ongoing legal investigations. And still I think this asset class is going to stay - although the hype might be over.
